Tickets now available for Author Visit

Bradford Breastfeeding Place

Due to the Library closure Bradford Breastfeeding Place will be held at the Bradford Ontario Early Years Centre at 118 Barrie St. on Thursday December 8 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Bradford Breastfeeding Place will resume next week at the Library.

BWG Diversity Action Group Holocaust Education Week Event

Sunday, November 6 at 3:00 pm in the Zima room.

Holocaust survivor, Mr. Edward Fisch, will speak of his story and experiences.

Speaker Bio: Mr. Edward Fisch, was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1933. His father was conscripted in 1942 into the Slave Labour Battalion in Hungary. His mother was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau in the Spring of 1944. Edward and his brother survived in Swiss Protected houses and then in the Budapest ghetto until Liberation in January 1945. Edward immigrated to Canada in 1948.

This event is free and open to the public. No registration necessary.

Afternoon Tea Book Club

New Adult Programs for Spring

The Spring Brochure for adult programs is now available. There are three new programs starting in April.

Senior’s Social Club – Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 10:30 am in the Boardroom. It is a  free drop-in program with a different activity each month.

Afternoon Tea Book Club – Meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 2:00 pm in the Boardroom. The first book, The Martian,  for the May 11 meeting is now available at Borrower’s Services.

Monday Movie Matinees –  The 3rd Monday of the Month at 1:30 pm in the Zima room. The first movie is, Brooklyn, on April 18.
