This book is an excellent source to assist in researching Canadian
ancestors. It has some general tips on how to gather information
from relatives, and common mistakes to avoid. There are also chapters
on church records, census, and how to research your ancestors’
migration to Canada. The later chapters are divided by province,
and resources available and contact information for each is provided.
It also offers information about what types of documents are available
in Simcoe County. This is a great book to use to start your research. |
