Enthusiastic volunteers make our programs more successful.
We are presently hoping to recruit volunteers for a number of positions.
1: The library is looking for a careful and meticulous person to work
2 or 3
hours a week searching through old newspapers for vital statistics and
then entering the information into our ibidnet database. Training will
be
provided.
2: We need individuals to form a crew who would be willing to tackle
our
front garden and maintain it throughout the growing season.
3: Friends of the Library Volunteers
Help is needed for our annual book sale. Persons interested in joining
the Friends as a member are welcome to apply.
4: Summer Teen Volunteers
If you are a high school student here’s a chance for a rewarding
experience. You can help with many creative children’s programs
or assist
with our TD Summer Reading Club. Apply early – spaces are limited.
If you are interested in becoming involved, pick up a Volunteer Application
Form at 100 Holland Court or download a copy.
